Announcing the new ONLINE ReStore

We are excited to announce the re-opening of our Habitat for Humanity of Worcester County ReStore as an ONLINE store LAUNCHING MAY 20TH, with CURBSIDE PICKUP!

SHOP our inventory from the comfort of your home 24/7.

SELECT a curbside pick up time.

PAY for your item(s) with your credit card online.

PICK UP the item(s) during your chosen pick up window at 9026 Worcester Highway, Berlin

Pull along the front of the building to the 2nd large bay garage door during your chosen pick-up window.

Give your name and order number to ReStore staff when they approach your vehicle.

Staff will load your item (s) into an open trunk/truck bed.

Continue around through the back parking lot of the building to exit.

Please only arrive at the ReStore during your chosen pick up window. Staff is small and pick up times will be limited at first.

NOTE: RESTORE STAFF WILL BE WEARING MASKS AND GLOVES. WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE WEAR A MASK WHEN INTERACTING WITH RESTORE STAFF. Large items may require you to exit your vehicle to assist staff with load-in.

Given that much of the ReStore inventory consists of gently used items, proper sanitation and safety measures are very important to protect our staff and customers and mitigate any risk of spreading COVID-19.

In its initial re-opening phase, the ReStore will only operate as an online store. The re-opening of the store to the public is TBD.

Please do not ask staff to allow you access to the store to shop or see inventory in person. They will not be permitted to do so.

When picking up items, or dropping off donations, we ask that you observe your scheduled time and stay in your vehicle until staff approaches.

All staff is required to wear masks and gloves at all times.

All items will be properly sanitized before being listed for sale.

The ReStore is again scheduling pick ups, and accepting drop-offs of donations. To donate any items, you must first email DONATIONS@HABITATWORCESTER.ORG. For fastest service please also include photos of the items with initial email.

Note - we cannot accept all items. Please reference our regular donation policy linked here prior to contacting the ReStore.

We ask that you please do not contact us if anyone in your household is exhibiting signs of sickness.

We also ask that you please assist us by cleaning any stains, pet hair, or general dirt/dust from your items before donation. Our staff is small and will be working as quickly as possible to get items sanitized and ready to sell back to the community with safety measures in check. Taking care of that first step at home helps ensure we can accept your items.

The ReStore staff reserves the right to decline donations.

PICK UPS at residences and businesses are CURBSIDE ONLY. This means items for donation must be left outside.

Examples of pick-up locations include placing items in a driveway, open air garage, front porch, or similar open-air location outside of the home or business.

Staff will NOT be permitted to enter homes or businesses to remove items. This also includes items that require elevator access in condo buildings - donors must bring their items to a first level with outdoor access or pickups cannot be accommodated.

We thank you for your understanding.

After contacting the ReStore, staff will respond with available drop-off times.

PLEASE DO NOT bring items to the ReStore unless you have a confirmed pick up time. Staff is operating out of the store on a limited basis.

Items left outside can be ruined by weather which results in them going straight to the dumpster. Please help us keep items out of the landfill by following procedure and scheduling a drop off.

We thank you for your understanding.

The ReStore staff and volunteers are very excited to get back to serving our customers and raising funds for Habitat’s mission of building homes, communities, and hope. And we couldn’t do it without YOU!
